The original idea behind PRLS was to create better club leaders. Another concept is available for us to develop better district leaders. Many of our nearby neighbor districts who have developed PRLS programs similar to ours, including a few who started before us, and have gone on to develop what they call Master PRLS or Leadership Academy.
Since Rotarians are constantly seeking ways to develop their skills and knowledge to become better leaders I propose District 5300 start a leadership Academy. The purpose of this Academy would be leadership development among Rotarians who will be our future district leaders. It would seem that there should be a much more involved program within the PRLs program.
The District 5300 leadership Academy consists of 9 separate topics. Each topic would be addressed at a separate training of them. Those topics are as follows:
