Participants will learn to defining and understand what it is to be a Fiduciary.
- Understand the Club Leadership Plan.
- Understand the roles and responsibilities of the Rotary Club Board of Directors and officers.
- Establishing financial controls to avoid misunderstandings, mismanagement and bad acts.
- Strategies to avoid legal liabilities.
- The relationships between Rotary International, the Rotary District and the Rotary Club.
- Understanding the tax status of 501(c)3 and 501(c)4 organizations.
- Finding answers in the Manual of Procedures, Code of Policy and other resources.
- A thorough review of Rotary International and District 5300 Youth Protection policies.
- Post seminar assignment: Participate as a presenter in a Board of Directors Training Seminar.
