Rotary provides numerous opportunities for learning about Rotary. The Rotary club is the primary source of training during weekly meetings, in the weekly newsletters and during fireside chats.

The Rotary District and Rotary International also provide a lot of Rotary training.

Rotary Training involves three areas:

  • Rotary Information.
  • Rotary Leaders Roles and Responsibilities
  • Leadership skills and strategies.

Developing Rotary information is a process that is largely fulfilled by the Rotary club, the district can provide some assistance in that process.

Roles and responsibilities of Rotary club committee members and club officers is a process that the district does make a commitment of time and resources to develop.

Leadership skills is another area where the district has a great deal to offer.

The process of developing district leaders is of great importance to the district training committee. This is a compendium of the training opportunities that are available to Rotarians in District 5300, Rotary International.
